Teen Programming in Your Library

The North Texas Regional Library System has partnered with Jeanette Larson, Consultant, to provide best practices in the world of teen programming in your library!

Share your ideas and expertise! What has gone right - and what has gone wrong!

Please follow this format for consistency:

Name of Program:  High School Musical Party

Description of Program:  Teens invited to celebrate the release of HS 2 and a chance to win the DVD.

Was it successful?  Yes.

What would you do differently?  Our DVD game didn't work, so lucky we had backup trivia and a small basketball goal (this come in handy and the kids really liked it).  Differently, I would've had more Teen input.

Advice to someone else planning this program?  Advertise in advance.  Gerenally you will have better attendance.
